Job summary

Talent Staffing and Recruiting seeks an experienced Nursing Home Administrator to lead a skilled nursing facility delivering short-term rehabilitation and long-term care. You will manage operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive quality initiatives in a resident-centered environment.

Ideal candidates hold a Nebraska? Actually New Hampshire-specific licensure is required; two years of admin leadership in healthcare is expected.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field is required.
  • Licensed Nursing Home Administrator or eligibility via reciprocity.
  • Minimum of two years' experience as an administrator or equivalent leadership role.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of facility operations, including availability during off-hours and weekends as needed
  • Foster a culture aligned with organizational mission, values, and ethical standards
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and internal regulations and policies
  • Develop and implement quality improvement and performance initiatives (QAPI/QPPI)
  • Monitor clinical outcomes and quality indicators, and drive corrective actions when needed
  • Collaborate with medical leadership to ensure proper credentialing and compliance of practitioners
  • Promote and protect resident rights in all areas of care
  • Lead incident investigation, reporting, and follow-up processes
  • Manage recruitment, hiring, and retention strategies to maintain optimal staffing levels
  • Oversee employee relations, including coaching, discipline, and termination processes
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and workplace regulations
  • Monitor financial performance, including census, payer mix, and expense control

Position: Nursing Home Administrator

Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Nursing Home Administrator to lead operations at a skilled nursing facility providing both short-term rehabilitation and long-term care. Qualifications

  • Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (or eligibility for licensure through reciprocity)
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Nursing Home Administrator, or equivalent leadership experience in a healthcare setting with completion of an Administrator-in-Training (AIT) program
