CommuniCare Family of Companies is offering a Nursing Home Administrator in Training (AIT) internship at Valley View Healthcare Center in Elkhart, IN. The role supports the Executive Director and provides leadership across staff to ensure optimal resident care.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree and are enrolled in or have completed an AIT program, with strong management, budgeting, and communication skills to prepare for a future Executive Director position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college
• Enrolled in or have completed an AIT program
• Strong management and operation skills
• Strong math/budgetary skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Assist the Executive Director in providing leadership to all staff to assure that care standards are met and the highest degree of quality resident care is provided at all times.
• Position supports the Executive Director and prepares for eventual leadership as ED.
• Collaborate with staff to maintain high-quality resident care and operational efficiency
