Job summary

Palm Beach State College in Lake Worth, FL seeks a 168-day tenure-track nursing faculty member to teach across campuses. You will deliver courses, maintain office hours, and participate on committees while supporting program evaluation.

This position follows PBSC’s five-year continuing contract process; transcripts must be attached. The minimum base pay starts at $50,500 annually, with adjustment by education and experience.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing or higher with 18 graduate semester hours in Nursing
• Current State of Florida licensure as a Registered Nurse
• Current 2-year CPR BLS certification through the American Heart Association
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends across multiple campuses
• Experience and recognition of occupational and teaching experience in the field

Responsibilities

• Instruct college students in accordance with educational theories and techniques
• Develop discipline-related curricula; assess student learning
• Participate in program evaluation and college activities; serve on committees
• Teach 45 points and maintain office hours and college business hours
• Contribute to ongoing accreditation and faculty workload processes
