Palm Beach State College, Florida's first public community college, is seeking an Adjunct Nursing Instructor to teach college students in accordance with educational theories and clinical practice requirements. The role includes developing discipline-related curricula, assessing student learning, and participating in program evaluation while aligning with the college's mission and strategic plan.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and demonstrated clinical nursing experience or a Master’s degree in Nursing with 18 graduate semester hours in Nursing.
Current State of Florida licensure as a Registered Nurse or higher and CPR BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends and across multiple campuses if needed.
Ability to use technology in the classroom and leverage instructional technology.

Responsibilities

Instruct college students in accordance with educational theories and techniques.
Develops discipline related curricula, assess student learning, participates in program evaluation, and college activities.
Maintains college and department standards in support of the College's mission and strategic plan.
Develops, maintains, interprets, and executes administrative procedures and practices for courses and policies.
Assist students and program curriculum reviews and articulation activities.
