Faculty positions are full-time based on NULTA requirements and involve laboratory and/or class instruction, clinical work, scholarly activity, and service in line with NCSBN standards.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered NYRN license.
• Master’s Degree in Nursing (Faculty Fellow) and Doctorate (Tenure Track) required.
• Demonstrated professional/clinical nursing experience, with skills lab or classroom instruction.

Responsibilities

• Fulfills educator role aligned with the College of Nursing model of curricula, student instruction and learning.
• Plans and prepares learning sessions using effective strategies to engage students.
• Maintains current knowledge of college policies and nursing education standards.
• Engages in academic instruction based on assigned courses.
• Supports students to build confidence and competencies for a baccalaureate education.
• Designs classroom experiences with innovative lesson plans meeting NCSBN standards.
• Maintains accurate student records and timely grading.
• Participates in advisement and professional development.
