Job summary

Ivy Tech Community College in Valparaiso, IN is seeking a full-time ASN/PN program faculty member to deliver nursing instruction, develop curricula, and maintain student records in alignment with program outcomes.

The role requires a minimum of three years RN experience, IN RN license, and a master's degree in nursing or progress toward one; duties include advising, safety, and engagement with campus activities; benefits include comprehensive plans and tuition remission.

Qualifications

Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
Current, unencumbered Indiana RN license.
Most faculty shall hold master’s degrees in nursing.
Bachelor’s degree holders must show an academic plan to complete a MSN and documented progress toward that plan.

Responsibilities

Deliver assigned classes using pedagogy and technology to support student learning.
Develop and maintain curriculum and supporting course materials.
Maintain student records, attendance, grades, and other documentation.
Facilitate student achievement of expected program learning outcomes.
Use IvyLearn LMS to support teaching, learning, assessment and communication.
Ensure safety procedures are known and followed in classrooms and labs.
Provide academic coaching and monitoring to assigned student advisees.
Promote recruitment, retention, and completion of programs.
