Job summary

Ivy Tech Community College in Indiana seeks a full-time ASN/PN nursing faculty member to deliver quality instruction across delivery methods and support student retention and program outcomes. You will use Ivy Learn and other technologies, maintain records, and participate in community outreach while advancing professional development.

The role requires an active Indiana RN license, at least 3 years of RN experience, and for those with a BSN to pursue a master's degree with a plan in place.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Current, unencumbered Indiana Registered Nurse license.
• The majority of faculty shall hold master’s degrees in nursing.
• If you hold a Bachelor’s degree in nursing, you must have a written academic plan of study for completion of a master’s degree in nursing within one semester of initial appointment, provide ongoing documentation of matriculation, and continued employment without a master’s degree must show progress toward the approved academic plan.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction to assigned classes using pedagogy and technology.
• Develop and maintain curriculum and course materials aligned with objectives and outcomes.
• Maintain student records, attendance, grades, and documentation and manage a conducive learning environment.
• Facilitate student achievement of program learning outcomes and use LMS for teaching and communication.
• Provide institutional support and participate in college committees and meetings.
• Engage in community service and outreach to support college relations.
