Job summary

Ivy Tech Community College in Indiana is seeking adjunct nursing instructors to deliver courses and guide student learning in ASN/PN programs. You will develop syllabi, lessons, and assessments, while maintaining records and engaging with students to foster a positive educational experience.

Minimum RN experience of three years and an active Indiana license are required; a Master's degree in nursing is preferred, with ongoing plans toward that degree.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of RN experience.
• Current Indiana RN license.
• Master's degree in nursing preferred; at least progress toward a Master's degree.
• Ability to apply college policies and FERPA in instruction.

Responsibilities

• Delivers classes per course objectives and college policy.
• Uses technology to enhance instructional methods.
• Develops syllabi, lesson plans, assignments, tests, and materials.
• Maintains accurate student records and grades.
• Engages with students to create a positive learning experience.
• Interacts professionally with colleagues and complies with policies.
• Ensures knowledge of and implements safety procedures in classrooms.
