Job summary

West Coast University seeks a Nursing Faculty member to guide nursing students toward excellence in patient care within a student-centered, innovative community. You will mentor, teach, and participate in continuous improvement of courses and clinical experiences using our Simulation and Innovation Labs.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of direct patient care as an RN
• One year of teaching or clinical instruction experience
• Knowledge of state nursing regulations and professional standards

Responsibilities

• Mentor and support nursing students as a role model and facilitator
• Deliver engaging teaching using diverse methodologies and assess learning outcomes
• Oversee assigned teaching schedule and contribute to course/curriculum assessment
• Assist with clinical placements, facility coordination and patient safety
• Provide timely feedback on clinical performance and progress
