Job summary

Ivy Tech Community College is seeking a full-time nursing instructor to deliver ASN/PN program courses across delivery methods, engage students, and contribute to retention efforts.

The instructor will use evidence-based pedagogy and nursing technologies, maintain records, and participate in program development and college service activities. Competitive benefits are provided, including health, retirement, and tuition assistance.

Qualifications

• Must have a Registered Nurse license in Indiana and at least 3 years in a medical-surgical setting.
• Faculty credentials per ASOM 7.1 applicable to nursing instruction.
• Experience delivering quality instruction using current nursing technologies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver assigned nursing classes using pedagogy and technology to meet course outcomes.
• Develop and maintain nursing curriculum aligned with program objectives.
• Maintain student records, attendance, and grades per policy.
• Use Ivy Learn LMS for teaching, assessment, and communication.
• Support student retention and success initiatives.
