Job summary

West Coast University, Inc. is seeking a Nursing Faculty member to guide nursing students and participate in curriculum development at our campus.

The candidate should have MSN or higher (DNP or PhD preferred), professional nursing licensure, and at least five years of direct patient care plus three years in the teaching field.

Qualifications

Must have at least five (5) years as a registered nurse providing direct patient care.
Must have at least three (3) years in the field they teach.
Education must align with state regulations and comply with state authorization requirements.

Responsibilities

Serve as a mentor, role model and facilitator for students.
Demonstrate enthusiasm for teaching and the learning process.
Deliver teaching per assigned schedule and use diverse methodologies.
Participate in assessment activities and contribute to curriculum improvement.
Maintain scholarly activity and engage in professional growth and service.
Support student success through effective supervision in clinical settings where applicable.
