Qualifications

• Have a minimum of a master's in nursing and a doctorate in a related field or a doctoral degree in nursing.
• Have a minimum of one year of nursing program teaching experience (2+ years preferred).
• Have appropriate experience in the practice of professional nursing and education.
• Current Georgia nursing license in good standing with Georgia Board of Nursing.
• Current BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers required.
• Excellent academic credentials in teaching, scholarship, and service.

Responsibilities

• Administrative: Collaborate with course faculty to develop nursing courses and document student progress.
• Resource Management: Determine resources needed with course coordinators.
• Program Evaluation/Accreditation: Evaluate courses and programs for ongoing accreditation.
• Curriculum/Instruction: Develop, implement, and evaluate educational materials and promote student achievement.
