Job summary
Brenau University is seeking a Nursing Faculty member for the North Atlanta Campus in Norcross, GA. The 12-month contract involves teaching designated courses, supervising students in clinical practice, and developing educational materials aligned with program standards.
Minimum qualifications include an unencumbered RN license and a Doctoral degree in nursing or related field, plus teaching experience in nursing programs.
Qualifications
- Have a minimum of an unencumbered license as a registered nurse and a doctoral degree in nursing or related field.
- Minimum one year of nursing program teaching experience (2+ years preferred).
- Current Georgia nursing license in good standing with Georgia Board of Nursing.
- Current BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers required.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with course faculty to develop nursing courses.
- Accurately document student progress and achievement within specific courses and/or clinical assignments.
- Collaborate with faculty to develop, support, and implement the university and department mission statements, theoretical and conceptual frameworks, and outcome statements.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate educational materials consistent with the university and department missions and accreditation standards.
- Serve on School of Nursing and Brenau University committees and support program evaluation.
