Job summary

LSU Health New Orleans School of Nursing invites applications for a Simulation Faculty position. The incumbent will provide instructional and technical support for day-to-day operations in our human simulation educational laboratories at our Off Campus Instructional Site: Baton Rouge, under the direction of the Nursing Skills & Technology Center.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing or related field; doctorate required for higher rank.
• Ability to manage a complex, high-paced simulation lab with emphasis on safety.
• Knowledge of computer hardware and software used in simulation labs; collaboration skills required.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional and technical support for day-to-day operations in human simulation labs.
• Support clinical learning labs and simulated patient care experiences to enable evidence-based learning.
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to develop and maintain simulation inventories, equipment, and safety protocols.
