Job summary

Georgia Highlands College, a multi-campus institution in the University System of Georgia, seeks a nursing faculty member to provide high quality classroom, campus lab, and clinical instruction in a competitive program. The teaching load is equivalent to 30 semester hours across the fall and spring semesters.

The successful candidate will participate in curriculum development, college committees, advising, and assessment activities, delivering courses with theory, lab, and clinical experiences.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing required; spring 2026 completion accepted.
• Georgia RN licensed; teaching experience preferred.
• Doctoral degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, organize, implement, and evaluate the nursing curriculum.
• Deliver theory, lab, and clinical instruction across courses.
• Participate in committees, advising, and assessment activities.
• Maintain office hours and support student learning and success.
• Collaborate with colleagues and clinical agencies to promote learning.
