Job summary

Responsibilities include hospital and professional outreach, staff training on admissions, and collaboration with the DON and Administrator to optimize admissions decisions. Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid processes and regulatory awareness is essential.

Qualifications

• Preferably have sales and SNF community relations experience in SNF healthcare settings.
• Excellent presentation and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate strong self-motivation.
• Familiarity with healthcare referral processes.
• Proficiency in computer skills relevant to the role.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships.
• Flexibility in working hours to accommodate sales responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct outside sales calls to hospitals, medical professionals, senior organizations, and community groups to promote services and educate on bed availability.
• Develop and maintain relationships with referral sources to drive admissions.
• Intake information from referrals and clients in a professional manner, ensuring a seamless admission process.
• Collaborate closely with the DON and Administrator to facilitate timely admissions decisions.
• Train and coordinate in-house staff on admissions processes and serve as a resource for inquiries and tours.
• Stay informed about federal and state regulations, Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement, and managed care referral processes.
• Monitor inquiry and admission trends to support continuous quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintain a database of medical contacts and community resources, keeping abreast of industry trends and regulatory issues.
• Assist in developing facility marketing materials such as brochures, press releases, and advertisements.
