Yona is seeking an Environmental Services Manager to lead housekeeping, laundry, and floor care in a skilled nursing facility. You will plan, organize, direct, and supervise department operations, ensuring sanitary, safe, and survey-ready environments aligned with regulations.

Qualifications

• Four year college degree strongly desired; high school diploma/GED required.
• Two years experience in housekeeping services in healthcare environment and supervision desired.
• Proficiency in Windows-based office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Ability to work across shifts and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Interviews, hires and orients housekeeping, floor care, and laundry staff.
• Trains workers in housekeeping, laundry, and floor care procedures and equipment.
• Plans, organizes, directs, coordinates and supervises department functions.
• Maintains sanitary, attractive, and orderly environment; coordinates supplies.
• Forecasts and plans purchasing of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Manages staffing schedules and maintains adequate services.
• Maintains records including inventory, compliance, and personnel files.
• Conducts management staff meetings and coordinates with other departments.
• Ensures cost-effective programs and survey readiness.
• Promotes resident and staff relations and participates in facility meetings.
