McLeod Centers for Wellbeing in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Full-time Assistant Director of Nursing to lead Clinical Operations. The role focuses on directing nursing services, ensuring regulatory compliance, and mentoring a team of RNs and LPNs.

BSN is required with MSN preferred; RN licensure (NC or multistate compact) is essential. The position offers a 37.5-hour week and opportunities for professional development within a nonprofit organization.

Qualifications

• BSN required; MSN preferred.
• Unrestricted NC RN or RN license from a state in the multistate licensure compact.
• Leadership experience and ability to mentor staff and manage nursing teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and evaluate nursing services across the organization.
• Ensure care delivery aligns with clinical standards and regulatory requirements.
• Support implementation of evidence-based nursing practices.
• Supervise and evaluate nursing personnel including Nurse Managers, RNs, and LPNs.
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, and retention within budget.
• Provide clinical coaching and ongoing staff education in addiction medicine and patient safety.
• Support nursing/pharmacy readiness for inspections, audits, and accreditation surveys.
• Develop, review, and update nursing policies and procedures.
• Participate in incident investigations and risk management.
• Oversee safe medication administration and monitor patient outcomes.
