Job summary

Cornerstone University in Grand Rapids, Michigan invites applications for a full-time, 9-month, academic rank eligible nursing faculty position beginning fall 2026. Salary commensurate with education and experience.

A comprehensive benefits package is included. The role includes teaching and assessment across clinical and didactic courses, mentoring students with a Christian Worldview, and active participation in program and university service.

Qualifications

Master's degree in nursing (MSN or equivalent).
Unencumbered RN license in Michigan.
Minimum 5 years of recent clinical nursing experience.
Commitment to excellence in undergraduate education and teaching.
Willingness to support a team-based work environment and teach in classroom and clinical settings.

Responsibilities

Teach 12-15 credits of clinical and/or didactic nursing courses (in-person and/or online).
Participate in assessment and continuous improvement of courses.
Mentor students in classroom hours and through Christian Worldview modeling.
Assist recruitment and retention of nursing students.
Participate in departmental, school, and university committees and initiatives.
