Western Michigan University invites applications for the position of Faculty Specialist II - Clinical Specialist in the WMU Bronson School of Nursing. This is a Tenure-track, academic year (9-month) position.

The duties include teaching courses in the Nursing curriculum in online, hybrid and traditional formats including simulations, supervising and instructing students, and contributing to the missions of the School, College and University.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in nursing from an accredited institution.
• Clinical expertise in mental health.
• Current unencumbered Michigan RN license.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses in the Nursing curriculum online, hybrid and traditional formats including simulations in the laboratory setting.
• Supervise and instruct professional nursing students to work with clinical health problems, health and wellness promotion with individuals, groups and communities.
• Contribute to the missions of the School, College, and University.
• Provide service to the Department, the University, the profession, and the community.
• Foster an interdisciplinary environment of instruction and community collaborations.
