Job summary

UPMC is seeking a part-time nurse educator to lead didactic and clinical instruction for nursing students. You will guide faculty, evaluate students, and ensure safe, high-quality patient care using the nursing process.

The role requires MSN with clinical practice, precepting experience, and active RN licensure in Pennsylvania. CPR/BLS certification is preferred; PA Board of Nursing approval is a condition of employment. 20 hours per week, on-site in Harrisburg, PA.

Qualifications

• MSN required with 3 years of clinical practice.
• Precepting experience required; clinical teaching in prelicensure preferred.
• Previous teaching experience preferred.
• Certified Nurse Educator certification preferred.
• PA State Board of Nursing approval required.
