Job summary

Jersey College is seeking a Nursing Instructor to deliver classroom, laboratory, simulation, and clinical instruction to LPN/PN and RN students. Instructors may teach across long-term care, sub-acute and acute sites, creating a positive learning environment and evaluating student competency.

The ideal candidate holds an MSN or higher, an active RN license, and at least 3 years of RN experience. Prior teaching or precepting is preferred, with a focus on collaboration and ongoing professional

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or higher required.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in the applicable state.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent professional RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom, laboratory, simulation, and/or clinical instruction to LPN/PN and RN students.
• Provide clinical instruction at long-term care, sub-acute, and acute sites.
• Evaluate student performance and clinical competence.
• Prepare accurate progress and grade reports.
• Collaborate with faculty and clinical partners.
