Qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing education or MSN with willingness to complete post-master’s certificate or CNE examination within three years of hire.
• Current, unrestricted South Carolina RN license.
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience in maternity nursing.

Responsibilities

• Teach nursing courses in classroom, lab, and clinical settings.
• Develop, review, and update course materials, syllabi, and instructional content aligned with program outcomes, accreditation standards, and best practices in nursing education.
• Evaluate student performance, provide timely feedback, advise students on academic progress, and support student retention and success.
• Maintain accurate academic records, submit required reports, and ensure compliance with institutional policies and accrediting and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in program development, curriculum improvement, student recruitment, and collaborate with faculty and college departments.
• Engage in professional development, committee work, college service activities, and perform other duties as assigned.
