Galen College of Nursing seeks an Adjunct Nursing Faculty member to facilitate learning, assess learners, and contribute to curriculum development. The role operates within the standards of state boards and accrediting bodies.

The candidate will design and implement assessments, support student development, and maintain up-to-date professional practice knowledge to prepare students for modern nursing practice.

Qualifications

• Active, current, unencumbered RN licensure in applicable state per State Board of Nursing.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
• Minimum of two (2) years of clinical RN experience as per State Board requirements.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate learning and learner development using assessment and evaluation strategies.
• Participate in curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation.
• Evaluate student learning and program outcomes.
• Maintain professional practice knowledge to help students prepare for contemporary nursing practice.
• Adhere to state and federal regulatory and accrediting bodies.
