Job summary

Mount Mary University invites applications for Adjunct Nursing Faculty to support the BSN program in clinical, nursing skills laboratory, and/or theory (didactic) instruction. Adjunct assignments may include clinical instruction, supervision in nursing labs, and classroom-based theory teaching based on qualifications, program needs, and course availability.

Qualifications

• BSN required; MSN preferred.
• Current, unencumbered RN license in Wisconsin or eligibility for Wisconsin RN licensure.
• Minimum of two years of nursing practice experience; experience should be relevant to the assigned instructional area.
• Prior experience teaching, precepting, mentoring, or supervising nursing students or nurses is desirable.
• MSN required for Theory/Didactic Adjunct Faculty.
• Current, unencumbered RN license in Wisconsin or eligibility for Wisconsin RN licensure.
• Nursing practice experience relevant to the assigned course or content area.
• Previous classroom, academic, or nursing education experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and evaluate students in clinical settings.
• Facilitate nursing skills laboratory instruction and assessments.
• Deliver classroom-based theory instruction aligned with course objectives.
• Provide timely grading and constructive feedback to students.
• Maintain course documentation and communicate student progress with leadership.
• Collaborate with nursing faculty to ensure curriculum alignment.
