Job summary

UCHealth University of Colorado Health in Pueblo, CO is seeking a full-time Nurse Educator. This onsite role focuses on orientation, continuing education, and professional development of clinical staff.

You will collaborate with managers to assess learning needs, design and deliver curricula, and serve as a consultant for clinical staff. The position requires RN licensure, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and 2 years of nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or higher; RN licensure required.
• 2 years of nursing experience; charge nurse preferred.
• Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications as listed.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with managers and staff to assess learning needs and competencies.
• Designs, delivers, and assesses curricula on clinical competencies and policies.
• Mentors on program development, clinical practice, and professional growth.
• Develops and coordinates new clinical staff orientation and education activities.
• Demonstrates critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
