Job summary

Eaton Creek Post Acute Nashville SNF Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Director of Staff Development (RN/LVN) to plan and implement facility orientation, job skills training, and in-service education for nursing assistants as required by regulations. You will collaborate with the DON and Administrator to ensure high‑quality care and may provide direct resident care.

Responsibilities include coordinating staff recruiting, maintaining training records, and organizing drills and infection control

Qualifications

• Must hold valid RN or LVN/LPN license and be in good standing with state Board of Nursing.
• CPR certification required.
• Experience planning, implementing, and evaluating education programs in nursing in long-term care.
• Ability to organize, document, and coordinate in-service education programs.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to relate well to residents, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement facility orientation and staff development programs.
• Coordinate in-service education and schedule, track, and document trainings.
• Develop and maintain annual in-service calendar and records as required by regulation.
• Supervise staff and participate in performance evaluations and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Assist with surveys and licensing inspections related to education and training.
