Community Health Network seeks a Nursing Education Specialist for Obstetrical Services. The role will develop and deliver orientation, in-services, and education for nurses across the obstetrical service line. Office space is at Community Hospital East.

The ideal candidate has an accredited nursing degree and a master's in nursing or related field, plus 3+ years in obstetrical care settings as an RN, with strong teaching capabilities.

Qualifications

• Graduate from ACEN/CCNE/NLN accredited nursing program with BSN.
• MSN, MBA, MHA, MPH or related degree required or within 24 months of start.
• 3+ years of obstetrical care RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide orientation, in-services, and other classes for nursing staff.
• Collaborate with obstetrical service-line leaders to meet educational needs.

Make a Difference

The Nursing Education Specialist will be responsible for providing education to nursing caregivers at Community Health Network, most specifically those working throughout the obstetrical service-line of the Network. Office space will be located at Community Hospital East. The NES will provide orientation, in-services, and other classes; in addition to collaborating with service-line leaders to ensure educational needs are met.

Exceptional Skills and Qualifications

Graduate from an ACEN, CCNE or NLN accredited school of nursing with a baccalaureate degree in Nursing (or in lieu of accredited schools listed, three years of related professional nursing experience).

Masters required (MSN, MBA, MHA, MPH or related advance degree) – or within 24 months of accepting role with MSN focus of classes on Education. Either Bachelor’s or Master’s must be in Nursing.

3 + years of experience in an Obstetrical Care setting as an RN (required).
