Job summary

The Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District seeks an Associate Dean to lead Nursing Education Programs under the Senior Dean of Allied Health and Nursing. You will direct operations, curricula, and accreditation efforts while supervising staff and coordinating with faculty and external partners.

Responsibilities include program development, budgeting, staff supervision, and ensuring BRN/NLNAC compliance. This 12-month, 1.0 FTE role starts November 2026 with a competitive salary range.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of the Education Code, Title 5 and related regulations.
• Ability to lead and develop nursing programs and staff.
• Experience in academic planning and program accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Direct, develop, and oversee Nursing Programs operations and curriculum.
• Lead budgeting and financial planning for Nursing Programs.
• Coordinate BRN/NLNAC accreditation activities and site visits.
• Supervise Nursing Programs faculty and support staff.
