Job summary

Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District is seeking an Associate Dean to lead Nursing Education Programs, ensuring program quality, accreditation readiness, and regulatory compliance. Reporting to the Senior Dean of Allied Health and Nursing, you will supervise staff, manage budgets, and collaborate with faculty to advance curriculum and student success.

The role requires a master’s degree, California RN licensure, and demonstrated leadership and administrative experience in nursing

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in nursing, education or administration.
• Active California RN license.
• Minimum one year as administrator with demonstrated administrative responsibilities.
• Two years teaching in pre- or post-licensure nursing programs.

Responsibilities

• Direct, develop, implement, and supervise the operation of Nursing Programs.
• Provide leadership for all activities of the Nursing Programs.
• Direct, supervise and administer Nursing Programs activities relating to student recruitment, enrollment, retention, evaluations, promotion, completion and licensure.
• Prepare and administer budget; seek additional funding sources through private, state and federal grants.
• Develop program goals with faculty and prepare schedules and assignments.
• Coordinate accreditation and regulatory compliance activities with BRN and NLNAC.
