Job summary

Penn State University DuBois is seeking a full-time Practical Nursing Program Coordinator to support the evening and weekend PN program. The role reports to the statewide PN Program Director and the DuBois Director of Continuing Education, overseeing curriculum implementation, clinical experiences, student services, and program evaluation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or a related field is required.
• Master’s degree or progress toward it preferred.
• Current RN license in Pennsylvania required.
• Related experience in nursing and nursing education required.
• Educational administration experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development, implementation, delivery, and evaluation of the evening and weekend PN program.
• Coordinate instructional plan schedule including clinical experiences.
• Recruit and retain students; monitor program budget and maintain student records.
• Provide or direct student counseling and support services as needed.
• Assist in supervision of PN instructors and liaison with clinical sites and the community.
