Job summary

Collin College is seeking a Nursing Faculty member to deliver engaging, evidence-based coursework at the McKinney campus. You will teach in accordance with the course syllabus, maintain currency in nursing education, and support student success through advising and collaboration with colleagues.

The role requires a Master's in Nursing, TX RN licensure, and 3–5 years of clinical nursing experience, with nursing education coursework and teaching experience strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's in Nursing is required.
• 18 semester hours in nursing education are required.
• Teaching experience is desired.
• Current TX RN license is required; compact license accepted.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned courses according to the syllabus and college policy.
• Post and observe six office hours per week for advising and student consultation.
• Advise and assist students during the registration process.
• Participate in discipline, division and college-wide committees.
• Attend meetings and contribute to accreditation standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the division dean.
