Job summary

Collin College is seeking part-time adjunct faculty and CE instructors to deliver nursing-related coursework in person at our McKinney campus. The role requires meeting professional standards and aligning with college policies, with teaching assignments on campus or at other locations as scheduled.

Minimum qualifications include a Master’s degree in Nursing or an equivalent combination with licensure as a Texas Registered Nurse.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Nursing or a Master’s degree with 18 graduate hours in discipline/qualifying field and hold a bachelor’s degree in discipline/qualifying field(s).
Must hold a current unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse in the state of Texas.
Teaching experience is desired.

Responsibilities

Teach courses in accordance with the schedule of classes and follow the approved course descriptions and syllabi established by the Division faculty and administered by the associate dean/director.
Teaching assignments may be on one or more of the college's campuses or off-site locations and may include evening and weekend programs. Collin College is not hiring for on-line instruction at this time.
May include Dual Credit courses.
Perform other duties as assigned.
