Job summary

Dolly Parton Children's Hospital seeks a Clinical Practice and Development Manager to supervise unit-based educators, oversee orientation and competency validation, and drive professional development across the nursing staff. NPD certification or eligibility within 6 months of eligibility.
RN license in Tennessee or Compact license; BLS required.
3 years of professional nursing; 2 years of management experience.
Adult teaching and assessment experience essential.
Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

Supervise unit-based educators and mentor them to excel in the NPD model.
Oversee orientation, competency validation, and continuing education.
Establish and advance the Clinical Practice and Professional Development program.
Foster bidirectional communication among educators, nurse managers, and central education.
Collaborate with hospital leadership to align education with organizational goals.
Analyze outcomes, drive quality improvements, and support practice change.
