Job summary

Middlesex Community College seeks an Assistant Professor of Nursing for the Part-Time option at the Lowell campus. You will provide classroom, simulation, and clinical instruction for the part-time nursing program and collaborate with the program administrator and faculty to support student success.

The position requires a Masters in Nursing, Massachusetts RN license, and at least two years of full-time nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Nursing is required.
• Massachusetts RN license in good standing.
• Minimum of two years full-time nursing experience within the last five years.
• CPR Certification is required.
• Compliance with Massachusetts Board of Regulations in Nursing 244 CMR 6.04(2)(b).

Responsibilities

• Evenings and weekends teaching responsibilities.
• Collaborate with Part-Time coordinator and leadership to support the option.
• Provide classroom instruction up to three hours with materials for up to 32 students.
• Provide laboratory instruction including simulation and skill evaluation.
• Provide clinical instruction for groups up to 8 students one-two days per week and supervise student care.
