Job summary
AdventHealth in Orlando is seeking a Doctorate‑level educator to lead nursing degree programs, oversee curriculum development and accreditation efforts. You will partner with the Dean to align strategic goals, manage budgets, and guide program evaluation, teaching and scholarship across undergraduate and graduate tracks.
The role requires extensive experience in nursing education, instructional design, and active involvement in professional organizations.
Qualifications
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Effective communication with faculty, staff and clinical affiliates.
- Organizational and administrative skills.
- Proficient in educational technology including LMS and online course delivery.
- Strong writing and presentation abilities.
- Ability to collaborate with teams and stakeholders.
- Expert Practice in Field and board certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Design, coordinate, evaluate and implement program curriculum.
- Engage in planning and assessment at department and institutional levels.
- Assist the Dean with strategic planning, goals and assessments.
- Manage fiscal resources and long‑term planning.
- Oversee accreditation activities and prepare annual ACEN reports.
- Develop and deliver course instruction and mentor students.
- Participate in teaching, service, scholarship and research.
