Job summary

Success Education Colleges in Long Beach, CA is seeking a Director of Nursing Education to support the Nursing Program. This full-time position reports to the Director of Nursing and leads curriculum development, policy implementation, and faculty coordination for the Vocational Nursing Department.

The ideal candidate holds a California RN license, a Bachelor's in Nursing (Master’s preferred), and at least three years of RN teaching or clinical supervision experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in formulating philosophy, objectives and curriculum for the Vocational Nursing Department.
• Coordinate policies, procedures and programs with the Director of Nursing.
• Plan and oversee orientation and training of new personnel.
• Maintain records and reports for the Vocational Nursing program.
• Support faculty with scheduling, materials and clinical/theory logistics.
