Job summary

North Central Texas College seeks a nursing education leader to operate, maintain, and provide didactic and technical support to BSN faculty and students on the Gainesville campus. You will ensure compliance with Texas BON rules, ACEN guidelines, and related agencies, while guiding budget, staffing, and admissions decisions.

The role requires a doctoral degree in nursing, three years of nursing leadership, and two years of teaching experience, with travel between campuses as needed.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree from an accredited institution.
• 3 years Nursing Leadership experience.
• 2 years teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and designing the course schedule and assign clinical sites and responsibilities for program faculty.
• Provide recommendations on program staffing needs.
• Ensure compliance with Texas Board of Nursing rules, clinical facility regulations, ACEN guidelines, and other regulations.
• Evaluate the adequacy of nursing facilities and recommend improvements for best practices and compliance.
• Keep Dean and Provost updated on progress with sufficient lead time and approvals.
• Participate in graduation ceremonies and college events as requested.
• Participate in routine nursing leadership meetings and serve on committees as assigned.
• Collaborate with students to promote equity and diversity and inclusive learning environments.
