Job summary

Brigham and Women's Hospital is seeking a Professional Development Manager for the Care Continuum on the Boston Main Campus. The PDM will design, coordinate, and implement staff development, education, research, quality, and evidence-based practice initiatives.

The role collaborates with the ACNO and Nursing leadership to promote professional growth and safe, high-quality care. The incumbent will lead onboarding, competency assessments, and professional development activities, while

Qualifications

• Massachusetts licensure as a registered nurse is required.
• Advanced degree in nursing or related field is required (MSN/MS with nursing major, DNP, or PhD; or BSN with master's in a related field).
• Minimum three years of inpatient hospital case management clinical experience with leadership abilities.
• Current certification in case management must be maintained while employed.

Responsibilities

• Participates in leadership strategic planning meetings to guide staff development.
• Develops goals and objectives for educational programs and leads evidence-based practice initiatives.
• Provides expert direction for training program design and implementation and ensures regulatory compliance.
