  • Support onboarding of new nursing and behavioral health support staff by partnering with nursing leadership, preceptors, and department leaders to ensure role-specific education, clinical orientation, skills validation, and transition-to-practice support are completed timely.
  • Assist with survey readiness, regulatory preparation, performance improvement projects, corrective action education, and follow-up training related to Florida requirements, Joint Commission standards, accreditation expectations, and organization policy.
  • Collaborate with hospital nursing leadership, clinical leaders, quality and compliance teams, medical providers, infection prevention, and interdisciplinary partners to promote safe care delivery, consistent practice expectations, and effective communication across programs and shifts.

  • Skilled in professional communication, staff coaching, presentation, course coordination, education documentation, training compliance tracking, cross-functional collaboration, and prioritization of multiple responsibilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively while maintaining confidentiality, exercising sound judgment, responding to changing education needs, and supporting a culture of accountability, learning, compassion, and continuous improvement.
Experience and Education Qualifications:
  • Current Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse license in the State of Florida, or eligibility to obtain Florida licensure prior to employment.
  • Associate degree in nursing required for RN candidates; Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
  • Prior nursing education, preceptor, charge nurse, clinical training, behavioral health, psychiatric, crisis stabilization, detoxification, substance use disorder treatment, or addiction recovery experience preferred.
