Qualifications

Licensed and currently registered to practice as a Professional Nurse in New York State.
Five years of nursing experience with at least three in supervision or teaching; or six years with four in supervision/teaching.
Equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted if licensure is maintained.

Responsibilities

Assist in development of administrative procedures and programs of patient care.
Evaluate nursing services by rounds, chart reviews, and patient care assessments.
Lead injury prevention education programs and community outreach.
Develop and implement trauma program protocols and materials; orient and train staff.
