A leading healthcare organization is seeking a Director to oversee departmental operations, manage resources effectively, and ensure high-quality patient outcomes. The role requires strong leadership skills and significant experience in nursing management. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Nursing and a Texas State License, with a preference for a Master's degree and additional certifications.
The Director is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and managing resources for one to two department(s) on a twenty-four (24) hour basis. These responsibilities include:
Completes established competencies for the position within the designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
Preferred Education: Master's Degree in Nursing, Business, or a related field
Minimum Experience: 5 years in discipline or specialty
Preferred Experience: 3-5 years of progressively responsible management experience
Required Certifications / Licensure: Current Texas State License for Registered Nurse
Preferred Certifications / Licensure: Specialty or Administration certification
Required Courses / Completions: Active healthcare provider Basic Life Support (ARC or AHA); must obtain AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire
