Location: San Antonio, TX

Overview :

We provide specialized services for liver cancer care, emergency care, weight loss surgery, urology surgery, vascular surgery, inpatient rehabilitation, colorectal surgery, and behavioral health care. We are a designated Center of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Excellence, awarded by the American Society for Bariatric Surgery. Our Sexual Assault Response Team offers compassionate support for sexual assault survivors aged 13+. • Seeking a Director of Nursing for Telemetry at Methodist Hospital, responsible for facilitating, coordinating, and delegating patient care during hospitalization.
• Provides leadership and overall responsibility for the functioning of assigned clinical units.

What you will do in this role :

The Director reports to the Senior Director, Vice President, and/or Chief Nursing Officer.

Responsible 24/7 for managing 70-80 staff, 40-50 beds, and patient care in the units, promoting professional nursing practices, and managing resources.

Acts as a liaison between physicians and the care team, working collaboratively with administrators, physicians, staff, and other stakeholders to deliver excellent services.

Identify opportunities for improvement, plan and implement changes, and evaluate outcomes of process improvements.

What qualifications you will need :

At least three years of recent RN acute care experience.

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)

Current RN license to practice in Texas or ability to obtain a temporary license prior to hire. Must obtain Texas RN license within 90 days of hire.
