People Powered seeks a Director of Nursing (DON) in Evansville, IN to lead our clinical team in a long-term care setting. The DON will oversee resident care quality, manage nursing staff, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include directing clinical operations, mentoring RNs/LPNs/CNAs, monitoring outcomes, and coordinating with leadership while maintaining resident-centered care and compliance with evolving regulations.

Qualifications

• Active Indiana RN license is required.
• Minimum of 2 years leadership experience in a long-term care setting.
• Strong knowledge of state and federal long-term care regulations.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee clinical operations and ensure high standards of resident care.
• Lead the nursing team (RNs, LPNs, CNAs) and mentor staff.
• Monitor resident outcomes and implement quality improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and organizational regulations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and facility leadership.
• Develop staffing plans, training programs, and performance evaluations.
• Serve as a role model for compassionate, resident-centered care.
