Job summary

NeuLife Rehabilitation of Florida is seeking a Director of Nursing (RN) to provide clinical leadership and oversee nursing services at the Mt. Dora location.

The role combines hands-on clinical duties with staff development, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance in a rehabilitation setting. The Director of Nursing will supervise nursing operations, ensure medication management and documentation accuracy, and maintain a safe, compliant care environment for clients across all shifts.

Qualifications

• Current, active, unrestricted Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Experience in leadership roles within nursing, preferably in rehabilitation or long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 on-call nursing coverage and supervise daily nursing operations.
• Oversee medication administration, records, and clinical documentation.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with AHCA, DOH, Board of Nursing, HIPAA, and CARF requirements.
• Lead staff development, training, and performance management of nursing personnel.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to support client rehabilitation goals.
