Job summary

Compass Intervention Center in Memphis seeks a Director of Nursing to provide leadership for the hospital's nursing program and to coordinate clinical initiatives for patient-centered care across the Child & Adolescent Units.

The role requires a BSN, RN licensure in Tennessee, and 3+ years in management within an inpatient psychiatric setting. A PMH certificate is preferred, with a $10,000 sign-on bonus and strong focus on quality and cost-effective care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a BSN.
• Prefer 5 years clinical experience with a psychiatric mental health population.
• 3 years previous clinical supervisory role in an inpatient psychiatric setting and administrative/management experience.
• Licensure by Tennessee Board of Nurse Examiners as a Registered Nurse.
• American Nursing Association Psychiatric Mental Health Certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the nursing function for the hospital and serve on the senior management team.
• Coordinate infection control activities and assess staff development needs.
• Contribute to hospital strategic planning and compliance with Joint Commission standards.
• Ensure delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care across Child & Adolescent Units.
