The Gardens for Memory Care at Easton is seeking an experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to lead the nursing department in our skilled nursing facility in Easton, PA. This leadership role focuses on clinical operations, regulatory compliance, and delivering resident-centered care.

Ideal candidates will hold an active PA RN license, have at least 1 year of nursing leadership in long-term care, and demonstrate strong knowledge of MDS processes and regulatory requirements, plus outstanding

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing in Pennsylvania.
• Minimum 1 year of nursing leadership in long-term care.
• Strong knowledge of long-term care regulations and MDS processes.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct, and oversee Nursing Services operations.
• Ensure high-quality resident care with regulatory compliance.
• Oversee nursing staff performance, training, and development.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation including nurses’ notes.
• Conduct daily rounds and communicate with physicians, residents, and families.
• Coordinate with MDS/Resident Assessment to plan care plans and RAPs.
• Support quality improvement and clinical outcomes initiatives.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, budgeting, and interdepartmental collaboration.
