Job summary

Team Select Home Care in Olympia, WA seeks a Director of Nursing (DON) to lead the clinical team across the Long Term Care division. This role reports to the Area Director of Clinical Operations and drives patient care quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include supervising clinical personnel, developing care plans, coordinating referrals, ensuring documentation accuracy, and participating in QA/QI initiatives.

Qualifications

• Unencumbered RN license in applicable state(s).
• BSN or undergraduate degree preferred.
• Minimum three years home health nursing experience (preferred).
• At least two years supervisory experience in healthcare, including supervision in home care (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day clinical management of LTC branch.
• Assign patient care and coordinate referrals and care plans.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and agency policies.
• Provide staff orientation and professional development.
• Collaborate with ADCO to optimize staffing and finances.
• Maintain accurate documentation and QA/QI programs.
