Job summary

A skilled nursing facility is looking for a dedicated Director of Nursing (DON) to lead and manage Nursing Services, ensuring quality resident care and compliance with healthcare regulations. The ideal candidate should have a current RN license, CPR/BLS certification, and at least 2 years of supervisory experience in healthcare. Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as an RN within the state in which you work.
• Must possess a current CPR or BLS certification.
• Must have a minimum two (2) years of experience in a supervisory role in a nursing community or other related healthcare community.

Responsibilities

• Organize, develop, manage, and direct overall operations of the Nursing Service Department.
• Work with the Administrator and Medical Director to ensure quality care.
• Follow health, sanitary, and infection control policies.
