Job summary

Goldwater Care is seeking a Director of Nursing to plan, organize, develop and direct the Nursing Department in accordance with current standards and regulations to ensure the highest quality of care.

The role requires RN licensure and at least 3 years of supervisory experience in a health care setting, with responsibilities including policy development, quality improvement, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of supervisory experience in a hospital, nursing care facility, or related health care facility.
• RN licensed and in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the nursing service department and its programs in line with current rules and guidelines.
• Coordinate nursing services with other resident services to ensure continuity of care and participate in QA activities.
• Ensure appropriate staffing, schedule duties, delegate authority, and perform daily rounds to ensure care quality.
